Respect Life

This ministry promotes the sanctity of human life and seeks ways to support the local life centers which offer aide and support to mothers in crisis pregnancies. We work in unison with the Catholic Church on Pro-Life issues and educate the parishioners on local and national events as well as upcoming legislation which is relevant to the protection of human life.

Spiritual Adoption Baby Shower

June 2 & 3, after all the Masses in the courtyard

It's hard to believe, but 9 months have gone by since we started praying for our spiritually adopted babies and their mothers! We will celebrate life and the birth of these children after all Masses on June 2 and 3 in the church courtyard. Please plan to bring unwrapped baby items for local life centers in honor of the birth of our spiritually adopted babies. Your generosity in the past years has been a huge blessing to these life centers! See the upcoming flyer for details!

Mother's Day Spiritual Bouquet

May 13, 2012

Beginning on Mother's Day, May 13, a Novena of Masses will be offered for all of the "Mothers" in our lives. Spiritual Bouquet Envelopes and special Mother's Day Cards are available in the vestibule of the Church or in the Parish Office. This is a wonderful opportunity to honor our mothers, mothers-in-law, grandmothers, godmothers, wives, daughters, aunts, sisters, friends, or any woman that has touched your life or the life of someone you know.

Pennies from Heaven

baby

Our final total for the Pennies from Heaven Baby Bottle Drive totaled $8,679.66! WOW! What a caring and giving parish we have - and... it's all because of you - the parishioners. Our goal this year was $8,000 and we topped that. We know what a big sacrifice this was for everyone during these tough economic times which is a wonderful testament to what God wants us to be doing - and that is to have a loving and giving nature. The Respect Life Committee would like to extend a very proud "Thank You" to everyone who participated in this fund raiser to help all the local charities out there who depend so heavily on our support to keep their doors open. A special "Thank You" to all the volunteers, our Chairman, Cathy Huff and especially to our Business Manager, Sue Kirrer who gave so much of her time and effort to assist us in this endeavor. God Bless You All.
